The data, hosted by the NOAA Office for Coastal Management, can be customized and requested for free download through a checkout interface. An email provides a link to the customized data, while the original data set is available through a link within the viewer. download imageDigital This metadata record references the 4 Band, 8-bit GeoTIFF data that was provided to the NOAA Office for Coastal Management (OCM) by Alaska Remote Imaging and Dewberry. Alaska Remote Imaging (ARI) collected aerial imagery for nine communities in Alaska in August, September, and October of 2024 via a UAS system. ARI used these aerial images to create an orthomosaic through photogrammetry (.tiff) and the data and the photogrammetry processing report (.pdf) were delivered to Dewberry. The nine communities are: Chenega, Craig, Elim, Koyuk, Pelican, Savoonga, Shaktoolik, Teller, Tenakee Springs Updated imagery was imperative to updating infrastructure. At the time of contracting, the available satellite imagery was the State of Alaska's Maxar Products. With communities having satellite imagery older than 2018 - Chenega, Craig, Elim, Koyuk, Pelican, Savoonga, Shaktoolik, Teller, and Tenakee Springs - Dewberry decided to collect relative UAS orthoimagery over those communities.
