The NS&T program conducts long-term monitoring of contaminants and other environmental conditions along U.S. coasts, and is designed to describe the current status of, and detect changes in, the environmental quality of our Nation's estuarine and coastal waters through environmental monitoring, assessment, and related research. NS&T is led by the NOAA National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS) in Silver Spring, MD. NS&T data are preserved at the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) oceanographic data archive, and made available for bulk download. For querying, subsetting, and downloading in a variety of formats, these data are also made available through this ERDDAP/Tabledap web service. ERDDAP (Environmental Research Division's Data Access Program) is a data server that gives you a simple, consistent way to download subsets of scientific datasets in common file formats and make graphs and maps. ERDDAP offers all data as .html table, ESRI .asc and .csv, Google Earth .kml, OPeNDAP binary, .mat, .nc, ODV .txt, .csv, .tsv, .json, and .xhtml. ERDDAP can also return a .png or .pdf image with a customized graph or map. ERDDAP/tabledap lets you use the OPeNDAP constraint/selection protocol to request data subsets, graphs, and maps from tabular datasets. NOAA was responsible for reviewing all data generated from this program. NOAA requests that all individuals who download NOAA data acknowledge the source of these data in any reports, papers, or presentations.
