The maximum monthly precipitation for each weather station was estimated from all rainfall records between 1/1/1990 and 1/1/2001. Using the X,Y position of the station, a raster files was created, with the maximum month precipitation (mm) for Puerto Rico, Vieques and Culebra Islands was estimated by spatial interpolation in ArcGIS, using a regularized spline interpolation method with a weight of 0.1, using the 6 nearest points. 2005-10-01T00:00:00
