Areas deemed ineligible for designation and areas that were excluded from the designation are described in the final rule (83 FR 35062). Ineligible and excluded areas were clipped out of this dataset. These data represent the critical habitat designated for the false killer whale (main Hawaiian Islands insular DPS) on July 24, 2018 (83 FR 35062) under the Endangered Species Act.
