Most HabCam images and data are collected as part of the NEFSC sea scallop survey but the vehicle is occasionally used for other surveys. For each survey, a subset of images are selected and manually annotated for the presence of target species. The PostgreSQL database contains basic image metadata (date, time, latitude, longitude, depth, etc.) as well as the data from the manual annotations.
