The GTE (GPS, Temperature/Depth, and Effort) procedure joins the temperature depth (TD), GPS and effort level electonic logbook data into one combined data set. This data set is then loaded and reviewed in an application for quality and is edited and coded appropriately. All sound data resulting from this review is moved to 'GTE_JOIN' table. In addition, a summary table 'GTE_EFFORTS' is maintained which, include calculations for various effort level statistics on the joined data such as, but not limited to, effort duration, distance towed, min, max, and average depth. Joins the Temperature Depth (TD), GPS and Effort Level Electonic Logbook data into one combined dataset.
