This data set was used to train this model: Benson, I.M., Helser, T.E., Barnett, B.K., 2024. Fourier transform near infrared spectroscopy of otoliths coupled with deep learning improves age prediction for long-lived northern rockfish. Fisheries Research. Combined northern rockfish otoliths were collected during biennial bottom trawl surveys conducted by the Alaska Fisheries Science Center in the Gulf of Alaska (GOA) in the years 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019 and in the Aleutian Islands (AI) in the years 2016 and 2018. Fish length, sex, and geographic coordinates were collected at the same time as otoliths.
