These data include catch per unit effort for each commercially important crab species at a standard set of stations in the eastern Bering Sea. This is a subset of the main database. Excluded are certain non standard tows and other types of data collected other than species id, species size category, species catch per unit effort (number per square nautical mile), water temperature and depth. Completeness Report Data set includes data collected from standard and non-standard hauls (special projects, opportunistic collections, etc.). Conceptual Consistency error checking routines are run against the data Measurements to nearest millimeter of commercially important eastern Bering Sea crab species were collected at sea. Data was uploaded to an Oracle database and checked for validity (outliers, impossible values). Catch-per-unit-effort (CPUE) estimates in terms of number of crab per square nautical mile were generated for each stock and major size group by sex. These CPUE values were imported into an ArcGIS web map, and published on the Alaska Fisheries Science Center web page.
