VIIRS Intermediate Products (IP) are generated at a specific point in the data processing stream, stored for a finite period of time, and used internally as an input to other data processing applications. These IPs are generated from reprocessed VIIRS Sensor Data Records (SDR) and are used as inputs for generating VIIRS Environmental Data Records (EDR). These products are produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) and are distributed by the Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS).
