The CrIMSS suite consists of two instruments: Cross-track Infrared Sounder (CrIS) and Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS). This data set is generated from CrIS and ATMS Sensor Data Records (SDR) and is produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). The data are distributed by the Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS) as aggregated 8 minute files consisting of 15 (32 second) granules in the HDF5 file format with metadata attributes included.
