The data are derived from observations (between 290-1,000 nm) detected by the OMPS Limb Profiler (LP) with an estimated vertical resolution of 700 m at nadir. This data set is generated from the OMPS Raw Data Records (RDR) and is produced by the NOAA Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). The data are distributed by the NESDIS Data Exploitation (NDE) system obtained through the Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS) as aggregated 101 minute files consisting of 163 (37 second) granules in the NetCDF file format with metadata attributes included. To provide high resolution calibrated radiance data from the OMPS Limb Profiler (LP).
