Sea Bird Electronics SBE19plus CTD sensors were used for in-situ measurements through the water column. Casts were conducted at least twice daily on board the research vessel Sea Scout and more often as needed. Dual CTDs were obtained to ensure proper working order of sensors. Data are in ASCII (cnv) format. These data were collected in support of multibeam data collection. Variations in the speed of sound through the water column will affect the path of the acoustic pulse transmitted from the multibeam system and therefore will affect the depth and position of soundings.
