Seawater samples (500 mL) were taken in the Eastern Tropical Atlantic during the French PIRATA cruise for inorganic carbon and alkalinity analyses. The method is based on the potentiometric titration of Edmond (1970) with a closed cell. Certified Reference Material provided by Prof. A. Dickson is used for calibration. These data were collected to check the fCO2 data measured at the 6S,10W mooring and to provide an overview of the carbon properties at the vicinity of the instrumented buoy.
