The system is fully real time motion-compensated to guarantee full coverage even under severe environmental conditions. The implemented swept beam technology is superior to any other real time compensation technology in the market to date. The SeaBeam 3012 system offers a depth performance of 11000 m with 110° coverage, resulting in a seafloor coverage of 31000 m (31 km). The optional water column imaging (WCI) displays real time images of the water column below and to the sides of the vessel.
