Sargassum density and coverage using Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) satellite data from 2001-01-01 to 2018-12-31 (NCEI Accession 0190272)

This dataset includes the monthly mean Sargassum density/coverage derived from MODIS measurements. The data are stored in netcdf, geotiff, or ascii format. The data start from 2001 to 2018 and the location covers from 20°S to 50°N and 98°W to 15°E. The data resolution is 0.5° by 0.5°.
