2012 Oregon Lidar Consortium (OLC) Lidar DEM: Keno (OR)

Watershed Sciences, Inc. (WSI) collected Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data of the Oregon Keno Study Area for the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI). The Oregon LiDAR Consortium's (OLC) Keno project area encompasses approximately 200,000 acres in Klamath County near the Oregon-California state border and surrounds a portion of the Klamath River. The data were collected between May 19 - August 17, 2012 with a resolution of eight pulses per square meter. The bare earth Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) are at a 3 ft grid cell size. In addition to the bare earth Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), the lidar point data, are also available. These data are available for custom download here: https://coast.noaa.gov/dataviewer/#/lidar/search/where:ID=6354

access_constraints ["Use Constraints: In some areas of heavy vegetation and forest cover, there may be relatively few ground points in the LiDAR data. TINing the points produces large triangles and hence the elevations may be less accurate within such areas. In some areas with large bodies of water, competing water surface levels may be visible. This is due to seasonal water level fluctuation and intervals of time between acquisition of an area. Users should be aware that temporal changes may have occurred since this data set was collected and some parts of this data may no longer represent actual surface conditions. Users should not use this data for critical applications without a full awareness of its limitations.", "Access Constraints: None"]
